Training & LMS
Plannor includes a built-in Learning Management System (LMS) for creating and managing staff training modules. Assign mandatory training, track CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, and ensure compliance through quizzes.
Where to find it: Navigate to Staff → Training Modules in the sidebar. Available on Professional and above (with module limits per plan).
Training Module Overview
Each training module shows four key metrics:

| Validity Period | How long the training is valid before staff need to re-complete it (or "Lifetime") |
| Mandatory | Whether all staff must complete this module |
Creating a Training Module

Go to Staff → Training Modules and click "+ New Module".

Fill in the module details:

| Title | Module name (e.g. "Manual Handling Refresher 2025") |
| Description | What the module covers and who it is for |
| CPD Points | Points awarded on completion (displayed on staff profiles and payslips for CPD reporting) |
| Validity Months | How many months the completion is valid. Leave blank for lifetime validity. |
| Mandatory | If ticked, all active staff are required to complete this module |
| Published | Only published modules are visible to staff. Save as Draft while building. |

Add content to the module — text, videos, embedded documents, and quiz questions. Use the module editor to build each section.

When ready, toggle Published to On and click "Save". Assigned staff are notified.
Adding Quiz Questions
Quizzes ensure staff have understood the training content. Add questions in the module editor:
- Multiple choice (select one correct answer)
- True/False
- Short answer (manually reviewed by admin)
Set a pass score percentage. Staff must score at or above this to be marked as completed.
Staff Completing Training
Staff access assigned training modules from their login under My Training:
- Staff sees all assigned modules — mandatory ones are highlighted
- They read/watch the module content at their own pace
- They complete the quiz (if included)
- On passing, the module is marked complete and CPD points are added to their profile
- If the module has a validity period, an expiry date is set and alerts will fire before it lapses
Tracking Training Compliance
View training completion across your team from the Training Modules list:
- Click a module title to see which staff have completed it, when, and their score
- Filter by "Incomplete" to see who still needs to finish mandatory training
- Export a completion report as CSV for NDIS quality audits
Set validity periods for modules that expire (e.g. Manual Handling every 2 years). Plannor automatically notifies staff when their training is about to lapse and generates a "re-enrolment" entry in their compliance record.
