Configuring Notifications
1
Go to Settings → Notifications.
2
For each event, toggle the channels on or off: Email, In-App, and Push.
3
For admin notifications, you can also specify additional email recipients (e.g. a shared operations inbox).
4
Click "Save Notification Settings".
Personal Notification Preferences
Each staff member can customise their own notification preferences (within what the admin allows) from My Account → Notifications:
- Turn off email reminders if they prefer push only
- Adjust reminder timing (e.g. 2 hours before shift instead of 1)
- Opt out of non-critical in-app notifications
Encourage support workers to install the Plannor mobile app and enable push notifications. Push is the most reliable channel for time-sensitive alerts like shift reminders.
Email Templates
Customise the content and branding of notification emails under Settings → Notifications → Email Templates:
- Add your organisation's logo to all outgoing emails
- Customise the footer (contact details, unsubscribe text)
- Edit subject lines and intro text for specific notification types
Notification Log
Every notification sent is logged under Settings → Notifications → Sent Log. You can see:
- Which notification was sent, to whom, and when
- Delivery status (delivered, bounced, unread)
- Resend a notification if a staff member missed it
